Paul Orme, Vice-PresidentPaul
R. Orme is a fourth generation Arizonan, and the grandson of the
Founders of The Orme School of Arizona and the Orme Ranch in Yavapai
County.Paul
received his BA degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles in 1975,
and his law degree from the University of Arizona in 1980. Paul has his
own law firm which is Of Counsel with the Phoenix law firm of Salmon,
Lewis & Weldon, PLC. Paul’s law practice focus has been the
representation of irrigation and electrical districts in Pinal County,
Arizona, as well as agricultural and rural water right holders
throughout the State of Arizona.Paul
has been appointed to and served on a variety of state water
commissions, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the
Central Arizona Land Trust in Prescott, Arizona, and on the Advisory
Board of the Family Farm Alliance.Paul
currently is the Executive Vice President of Orme Ranch, Inc., and is
actively involved in the management of the Orme Family ranch and sod
farm.

Becky Ruffner, Secretary
Patricia Bruneau Garber, Treasurer
Patricia
spent 30 years in education, beginning as a first grade teacher
followed by administrative leadership positions in Alaska, Oregon and
Arizona. She came to Prescott as Executive Dean at Yavapai College in
1994. After leaving Yavapai College, Patricia was a Financial Consultant
with AG Edwards & Sons and Wells Fargo Advisors. She has served on
many boards, including the Prescott Valley Economic Development
Foundation and Yavapai College Foundation. Patricia enjoys hiking and
trail running as a way to experience the landscapes of our region.

Dan Campbell
Dan
has worked for The Nature Conservancy for 27 years, 12 of thoseas
Executive Director of the Arizona Chapter, and 7 as Director of the
Verde River program. He co-produced the Desert Speaks television series
and presided over the passage of the Arizona Heritage Fund. He has
helped secure interests in land and water and developed a political
constituency for protecting the Verde River, its aquifer and
tributaries. Dan is also on the Boards of Prescott College, the Verde
Watershed Association, Verde River Basin Partnership and the Granite
Dells Preservation Foundation.
Mary Hoadley
Mary
Hoadley joined the CALT board in the Spring of 2011. She is a 1967
graduate of Stanford University as a Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.A. in
History and Anthropology. She has been associated with the Arcosanti
Project in Cordes Junction, AZ beginning in 1970 at its groundbreaking. A
part of the management staff since 1971 and a member of the Board of
Trustees since 1977, she is currently Arcosanti Site Coordinator and
Cosanti Foundation treasurer. She is an active representative of the foundation in many civic organizations in central Arizona as well as Chair of the Upper Agua Fria Watershed Partnership.
Gordon Bergthold
Gordon
has resided in Prescott since 2005. He is a Certified General
Appraiser in California and Arizona. During his extensive career,
Gordon has gained specialized experience working with conservation
easement valuations and has donated his time and talent to serving land
trusts. In California, Gordon served as a board member to the Three
Rivers Land Trust. In addition to donating his time to CALT, Gordon is
an advisor to the Sequoia Riverlands Trust in Visalia, CA.

Dick
and his wife Carol have lived in Prescott since 1977, although Dick
attended grade school at Lincoln Elementary School in Prescott. After
graduating from the University of Redlands with a BS in Geology in 1970,
he spent 9 years working for the US Forest Service in the San
Bernardino and Prescott National Forests and the National Park Service
at Chiricahua National Monument in Arizona before obtaining an Arizona
Contractor's license in 1983, specializing in hydronic applications. He
has been an active open space and wilderness steward and enjoys all
outdoor activities, especially those at high altitude. He joined the
CALT Board in 2010
